What Is a Carrier411 FreightGuard Report?
Carrier411 is a carrier monitoring service used by freight brokers across the United States. Its FreightGuard feature lets a broker file a report against a motor carrier after a bad experience. Brokers use it for claims of double brokering, service failures, damaged freight and payment arguments. Whatever the broker writes becomes part of your carrier profile on Carrier411. For the full background, read
what a FreightGuard report is.
Each FreightGuard report shows the broker who filed it, the date, the stated reason and the comments. Any broker who looks you up on Carrier411 sees all of it. A freight guard report is not a government record. It does not touch your CSA scores, your FMCSA safety rating or anything on SAFER. It is private data held by a private company, which is exactly why it can be removed.
Who Sees a FreightGuard Report?
Brokers, 3PLs and shippers that subscribe to Carrier411 see it, and many run your MC number through it before every tender. Larger brokerages have a written no-flagged-carriers rule: if a FreightGuard report shows up, the carrier is declined automatically. Smaller brokers still read the comments, written by the person who was unhappy with you.
Carrier411 also notifies you when a report is filed. The notice links to CarrierResponse.com, where you have 72 hours from submission to post a single response that cannot be edited later. Many carriers miss the window, and those who do respond often write something in anger that makes things worse.
How a FreightGuard Report Hurts Your Business
The damage is slow and quiet. Brokers you have hauled for before stop answering. Rate confirmations that were almost signed get pulled back. One FreightGuard report can shut you out of a slice of the broker market for as long as it stays up, long after the broker who filed it has forgotten about it.
For an owner-operator, that is a few lost loads a month. For a small fleet, it is a truck sitting. Either way, the report costs far more than the dispute behind it.
Can a FreightGuard Report Be Removed?
Yes. Many carriers believe a FreightGuard report becomes permanent once the 72-hour window closes. That is a myth. The broker can delete it at any time, and when they do, it vanishes from Carrier411 with no archive, no resolved tag and no trace. We cover the timing question in
how long a FreightGuard report lasts.
That means the only real route to removal runs through the broker. Carrier411 does not referee disputes, and it does not remove a report because the carrier disagrees with it.
Why Do-It-Yourself Disputes Usually Fail
Most carriers try to handle this on their own first, and most fail.
The broker is not a neutral party. They were frustrated enough to file, and a call from the carrier they are frustrated with rarely changes their mind. Angry emails get ignored. Threats make brokers dig in, because now removing the report looks like giving in.
The 72-hour response is another trap. It is one shot, it cannot be edited, and it is public. A response that argues every detail reads as defensive; one that attacks the broker reads as proof the broker was right. Either way, the report stays up.
Finally, carriers rarely know what a broker needs to hear before they will agree to delete, and a conversation that misses it goes nowhere.

How FGR Removes Carrier411 FreightGuard Reports
FGR is a mediation company. We do not fight the broker or file paperwork with Carrier411. We open a professional conversation with the broker who filed the report and work toward one outcome: the broker deletes it.
You send us the report details through our form or by phone. We review the broker and the reason given, then tell you honestly how strong your case is and what the fee would be. If you move forward, our mediators handle every exchange with the broker and keep you updated until the report is gone. Most removals are finished within a few business days.
Our success rate is 82%, with more than 300 reports removed in total and 214 last year alone. That includes FreightGuard reports and reports on
Highway, TIA Watchdog and
CarrierAssure, so we can handle every platform where your name appears.
What It Costs to Remove a FreightGuard Report
Every case is quoted individually after review, because every report and every broker is different. What never changes is the payment rule: no upfront payment. You pay only after the report has been removed from Carrier411. If we cannot get it removed, you owe us nothing.
That keeps us honest: we tell you up front when we think the odds are poor.
